The decision given by the Supreme Court in Yeddyurappa case is historic said that the lawyer and Congress party leader Abhishek Singhvi. Follow the writ filed by the Congress, the court reduced the 15 day time given by Governor to just one day that is at 4 PM in the evening on Saturday.
The protem speaker will convene the Karnataka Assembly and the floor test will be held at 4 PM . The BJP will have to prove its majority. The Karnataka DGP will provide the security for the MLAs during the floor test.
The Assembly special session will start around 11 Am. The number of MLAs is 221 and the BJP has 105 with an independent put together.
The BJP claimed that they have the support of 120 MLAs. Prakash Javdekar the Union Minister said that they will win the floor test. The JDS MLAs are in Hytes=x Novotel while the Congress MLAs are in Taj Krishna they will be flown in to Bangalore directly to attend the Assembly session it is reported.
The BJP advocate has asked for a weekdays time but the court said that they have to do it in a day. The Karnataka governor is already in a meeting with the legal luminaries on various arising out of this majority-minority crisis. Both the groups are confident and the MLAs are camping in Hyderabad.
