Hyderabad is glowing with the colours of the elephant-headed God Ganesha. Flowers, fruits and leaves of various trees in the name of partri is being sold across the length and breadth of all the districts in the Telugu states. This is the first and most important festival for the Telugu people across the world.
For anything one has to worship the Lord Ganesha first as he said to be removing the obstacles. Ganesh pooja means starting of any work of Puja for that matter. It is for removing the evil and helping in making it better and perspective.

The Ganesha will be worshiped for 10 days and it would be taken in a mega procession and the immersion process takes place at Hussainsagar or Tankbund. The GHMC has made elaborate arrangements for the immersion process.
The police would deploy around 10000 men across the length and breadth of Hyderabad to avoid any untoward incidents. As usual the prices for Ganesh idols are very high. The flowers rates also have gone up and it is time that we buy the leaves also now for the festival.
Ganesha is a food lover and one has to cook so many varieties of sweet and hots to make the god happy so that he would shower blessings for our development and success without any hurdles in the future.
