Nagarjuna’s father Akkineni Nageshwar Rao was known as Devadas and he became a superstar with that movie. The Akkineni Devadas is still talked about in the film circles.
Later, Hero, Krishna tried the same but could not impress upon the masses. Now Nagarjuna is experimenting again with the father’s title and the producer is Ashwini Dutt. Ashwini had a success as a producer with Savithri but Nagarjuna failed as an office under the direction of RGV.
Nani is also working with Nagarjuna and we have to see how far this combination will work. The first look of the poster released on the friendship day with a liquor bottle looks classic. The storyline is yet to be revealed. But the title suggests that Nagarjuna could be a drunkard. He might fail with a lady that he loves.
Aakanksha and Rashmika are playing the leading roles. Manisharma will be working for the music. Most of the shooting is complete and the film is scheduled for the release by September end.
It looks like a medium budget movie and Naragjuna wants to make a come back after the disaster of RGVs movie officer. Sriram Aditya is the director and writer for the movie.
