Band Baaja and baarat are happening at Secunderabad on account of Bonalu. Pilgrims from across Hyderabad and secudnerabad are coming to the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple and offering the Bonam.
The Pootharajus are dancing to the tune of theen maar and there is a festive atmosphere around. It is slightly drizzling in the area and it usually happens for Bonalu.
The State Government has made huge arrangements for the festival. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is taking a keen interest in the arrangements and overseeing the event.
Around twenty lakh people are expected for the event here a the Temple.
Some traffic regulations:
Vehicles arriving from St.Johns Rotary, Sweekar Upkar, and SBI will park at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, Mahabub College/SVIT College, and at the Belson Taj Hotel.
No vehicle will be allowed near the Temple premises.
Vehicles arriving from Subhash Roadside shall park in the open space near Old Jail Khana.
Vehicles arriving from Karbala Maidan, Bible House, and Ghansmandi will park at Islamia High School.
Vehicles arriving from Ranigunj and Audaiah X Roads shall park at Govt. Audaiah Memorial High School, Audaiah X Roads, Ranigunj, Secunderabad.
Vehicles travelling from Rasoolpura will be parked near the Mahatma Gandhi Statue on M.G Road (Limits of Tr. PS Begumpet).
Vehicles arriving from the Manju Theater side will park at the Anjali Theater.
