BRS leader and former Minister Harish Rao opined that it was because of the proposed Nalgonda meeting that the decision has been reversed by the Congress Government.
He was speaking in the Assembly after the presentation of the Minister for Irrigation Uttam Kumar Reddy. He was happy that the projects will not be given to the KRMB.
It was due to the pressure from the BRS that the Congress leaders who have surrendered to centre have taken a U turn today he said.
Intervening in the discussion, CM Revanth wanted Harish to openly state if they are supporting the resolution made in the house or not. Revanth stated that we are dependent on the Krishna waters.
How can Revanth speak about the Telangana movement he questioned? KCR is an undisputed leader Harish said. Harish explained that the ratio of sharing the waters was 50/50 and not explained by the Government.
There were heated arguments between the Congress and the BRS leaders here in the house and they countered each other. Both blamed each other over the handing over of the projects to the KRMB.
Both the Government and the opposition did not agree with each other over the matter. But however Harish appreciated the way the Government finally reacted to the issue.
