The gods and Temples are in trouble due to the Covid conditions. More than 60 people are suffering from Covid conditions at Yadadri. The temple authorities have stopped all the Arjitha sevas and are implementing the Lagu Darshan for the pilgrims.
All the activities are going on in a low profile manner. The TTD which was doing well till recent times has decided that only people with Darshan Tokens will be allowed to Tirumala from the Tollgate at the stipulated time.
At the same time, the TTD board has decided to demolish some old constructions after consulting the Agama Pandits. Sri Rama Navami is being done in a low key fashion at Bhadrachalam Temple.
Last time also the pilgrims were not allowed for the Seetaharama kalyanam due to Covid conditions. The Temple board has stated that they will return the money for the tickets that have been booked by the pilgrims for the Kalyanam.
Most of the Temples are witnessing low turn out of Pilgrims at the Temples due to Corona restrictions imposed by the Government. The collections have also come down slightly.
Yadadri has stopped the free meals distribution also here at the Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple. In the same fashion in the name of Covid regulations, most of the Temples are not giving Teertham and Prasadam.
We do not know how long this is going to continue as the cases of Corona are rising by the day like the humid conditions in Telangana.
