It was PM Modi who talked about the Telugu Cinema going international and making news. He was talking with Pushpa In Mind which created sensation and dialogues were used by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and others during the election campaign in five states.
Now it is the Chief Minister of Telangana KCR who is giving all the encouragement to Telugu Cinema in Telangana. Telugu cinema is booming these days and rooted characters from the Telangana backdrop have created a solid buzz for themselves in the last year or so he said.
He was making a statement in the state Assembly on the eve of the Budget session.
The same has been specified today by CM KCR in the Telangana assembly. In his speech about how rich the Telangana language is, KCR says that if a Telangana-based dialect is being designed for heroes, the films are becoming good hits at the box office.
If you can observe clearly, so many Telugu films are having a Telangana backdrop in the last year or so. Recent films like DJ Tillu went on to become super hit as the lead character was a local Telangana youth and everyone loved Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s dialect in the film.
Kota Srinivas Rao the senior actor was very popular in using the Telangana dialect. First, it was Ramaoji Raos film. Next Vijaya Shanti the lady Amitabh popularised the Telangana dialect in many films like Ose Ramulamma and others.
