BJP has been using film stars for publicity. During the elections, they take film stars left and right into the party just before the elections to create Hungama.
After the elections, the film stars will be nowhere and the party leaders dont bother about them. Vijayashanti is the latest example where she is sulking day in and day out.
Earlier they called Chinrajeevi to meet Modi during the launch of Alluri Seetharama Raju statue. But Krishna the superstar was the man who did the role of Seetharama Raju.
Now they have invited NTR to meet Home Minister Shah. They said it was to appreciate his work in RRR. There was a rumour that he was offered a role in the movie called RSS.
Shah extended all the support if NTR wants to start a political party. But there are some film stars like Hemamalini and also Anupam Kher who shined after joining the BJP.
Some BJP leaders say that politics was not discussed. Only Shah and NTR were sitting for dinner. But this meeting has created a sensation in the film industry and also political circles.
