The Budget is presented today by the Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman cannot be called as an Election Budget as tehre will be another budget which sould be presented by the FM in January 2024 just before the elections.
The FM has already displayed the Budget Tablet to the media and she also met the President this morning. She will read the budget in brief and not in detail. It will also have the Railway Budget.
The IT exemption slabs will be revised. That would be a major relief to the salaried class.More allocation for the Railways will be done.
Finance Minister Nirmalamma is set to present her fifth Union Budget today. This will be the NDA government’s last full-fledged Budget before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
