The Congress and the JDS are taking a massive lead in Karnataka and the mood of the nation is indirectly being reflected here. People are not with the BJP here. The swing is away from the BJP and the alliance with the Congress is working for the JDS here.
There could be a similar pattern for the grand alliance in the 4 states, where the Assembly elections are due . The other state Telangana is different. Here the mahakutami is unable to come together and the TRS is surging ahead for good number of seats.
If the BJP loses 3 states out of the 4 then it is crystal clear that it is not easy for the NDA government to return to power in 2019.
Modi and Amit Shah the jodi of the BJP will have to seriously introspect as what they should do for securing the future. The landslide has already started for the NGA regime here from Karnataka. The Karnataka results will have a bearing on the coming Assembly polls in all the five states to some extent.
But the results of 5 states will pave way for the 2019 general elections. The target of BJP is 350 plus, but Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief is slowly inching ahead and gaining ground again with the grand alliance. Now Chandrababu has joined him and the target is to trounce the BJP and Modi.
