Minister for Finance Harish Rao today worshipped the Lord Balaji here at the Jubileehills before reaching the Assembly Premises. He gave away the Budget papers to Prashant Reddy who will be presenting the budget in the council.
He met the Chief Minister KCR and the Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy here in the Assembly premises. Harish Rao will be presenting the Budget from 11.30.
Prakash the TRS leader said that Governor’s speech is nothing but a waste of time. The discussion can be made after the Budget he opined. The Governor’s speech is also given by the Government he revealed.
The state has the discretion he opined. The Budget will have a bearing on the people’s minds he said. This will be one year before the elections the budget is being presented he reminded.
Some more welfare schemes will be added he said. As the income is coming in a better manner there is scope for the increase in the budget allocations for the welfare schemes he stated.
This is the third time that Harish Rao will be presenting the Budget to the Telangana Assembly.
