There is a loud thinking that a lady must become Prime Minister from the Opposition side. That means there are no takers for Rahul and his leadership. The Congress has no other option but to join the other parties and try to face the BJP for the next elections. Deve Gowda has already proposed Mayawathi. Lalus son has proposed Chandrababu Naidu. Some others are proposing Mayawathi. Akhilesh is also Ok with Mayawathi bua.
The conclave or the rally of the opposition on January 19 under the leadership of Mamatha will underline the future course of action for the opposition. But it is clear that Rahul will not be a leader and he will be a follower. He has no other way but to continue with the present circumstances.
But what if Congress emerges as the single largest party after the elections is the question. Sonia Gandhi has stepped back and says that she would not contest the elections.Priyanka will be contesting the elections. KCR the Telangana CM who earlier proposed for a front against the BJP and Congress is keeping quiet.
He has been told that a front without Congress is not possible. Babu from AP is with Congress. But the BJP is trying to take him back into the fold.
Finally, we can conclude that all is not well with the opposition.
