Tamil actor Akash has claimed that the movie iSmart Shankar being produced by Puri connects and directed by Puri Jagannath is a copy of his movie Naan Yaar which is in the pipeline and ready for release in Telugu and also Tamil.
But ismart is already in the market and the movie is running successfully in the Telugu states. It has made good profits and people are praising the movie and Puri Jagannath.
Akash has already filmed a complaint in the movie forum and if the issue is not resolved he will knock the door of the court. So far Puri Jagannath is yet to react over the allegations made by Akash.
The Movie unit is enjoying the success and also the collections of the movie. Earlier it was said that the chip concept was copied from an Egnlish movie. Now Aakash claims that the story belongs to him.
It has to be seen if the allegations made by Akash are correct. Earlier Puri has agreed that the chip concept is an inspiration from an English movie and that the story is based with the Telugu nativity to suit the audience of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The Bonalu Jatara has been depicted very well in the movie and the songs praising Ammavaru are also good.
