The TRS MLAs poaching case which is being handled by the Telangana SIT seems to be fizzling out. The Court has been postponing the case from time to time.
The Court which earlier granted protection to BL Santosh till the 5th of this month has now extended the stay to the 13th. Another accused in the case Dr. Jaggu Swamy who filed a quash petition was also given a big relief by the High Court of Telangana.
Both the accused told the court that they have nothing to do with the scam and they are being framed in the case. BL Santosh in his petition said that even before he appeared before the investigating officers he was named as A-4.
He sought directives from the court to remove his name from the case. Senior and popular advocate Ram Jethmalani’s son is fighting the case of BL Santosh.
BJP leader Premander Reddy is supervising the case on behalf of the BJP and is guided by Raghunandan Rao. While the TRS is using SIT against the BJP, the BJP is using CBI against Kavitha in the liquor scam.
We have to see how far the cases will go. BJP says that Kavitha will be arrested, while TRS says Santosh will be arrested.
