Selling seats is not new to the Congress party. They take the money in the name of the party fund. During Indira Gandhi’s days, some candidates who were allocated seats used to get diesel, jeep and also some money to fight elections.

There is a talk that BRS also gives money to the candidates to fight the elections. But there are always middlemen in all the parties who collect money in the name of getting seats for the candidates.

The latest is the allegations against the Congress Chief Revath Reddy that he has taken ten crores for allocating a seat. If it is ten crore for a seat and then what could be the cost of the election as such?

Some BC leaders from Telangana are waiting for the appointment of AICC Chief Kharge. There were allegations of seat sales when Dharmapuri Srinivas was the PCC Chief under the leadership of Rajasekhar Reddy.

Srinivas said that the candidates will spend and fight the election as they have serpent the money for the seat. Otherwise, they will take it very easily he opined.

More than the popularity of a candidate money makes all the difference. There are times when the candidates dis[layed pass books of the bank accounts.

When it comes to the BJP they are completely dependent on the campaign from the central leaders like Modi and Shah. The local leaders do not support the candidates much.

No one knows if the prepoll surveys are right or wrong. The Congress and the BJP are now dependent on the Delhi decision in the allocation of seats.

The BRS is ahead in announcing the candidates for the election and they are busy with the campaigning. KCR,KTR, Harish Rao are already pounding the ground for the coming election in Telangana.
