In the same fashion Rahman the music director has just given meaningless lyrics for the Telugu version of the movie.
It looks as the lyrics are just pasted to the Tamil version of music. There is nothing new in their voice and the tunes of Rahman and the lyrics in Telugu have no meaning of whatsoever.
Songs rendered by Rahman was sounding old. If you close your ears you will not know if they are Tamil songs or Telugu songs. So Ponniyan Selvain will not become a hit with songs or music.
We have to see if the people will like the content of the movie in Telugu. The movie will be released in two parts and this is the first part getting ready for the release.
Mani Ratnam the director is keeping his fingers crossed for the time being. But with the OTT around he may not lose money for that matter. Aishwarya is just a worn-out leading lady for the latest trends.
Vikram also has no hits these days. So all said and done the movie will run if the audience has some mercy on Mani Ratnam. With the movie releasing in a number of languages it is going to be a no-loss venture.
