Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi warned BRS not to take AIMIM’s friendship for granted. He expressed his ire at BRS, stating that BRS was not seriously waging a battle against BJP, which is why BJP is growing in Telangana.
Owaisi also asked BRS not to display their love towards AIMIM ‘secretly’ but to display it openly. Owaisi also said that he will visit all the districts in Telangana and hold public meetings.
There is talk that the BJP at the centre which was supposed to have hand in glove with MIM is moving away from Owaisi in general.
This is making Owaisi move closer to the Congress which has come to power in Karnataka and hopes to come to power in Telangana.
Owaisi’s comments fueled speculation in political circles that all is not well between KCR and Owaisi, and that’s the reason for his outburst. There is talk that talks are going on between the Congress and MIM for the coming Telangana elections.
But Owaisi will not support the Congress unless and until it comes to power in the state. He will be with the BRS and this is to see that KCR calls him and gives assurances for the coming elections seeking support from the minorities.
MIM is looking for expansion and they want to get at least ten seats this time in the coming elections. But finally, he will join the party that comes to power in the coming elections and it will be BRS.
He is going to bargain for more funds and seats this time.
