Rumours of MS Dhoni retiring from the cricket have gone viral. Asking for the ball from on-field umpires by Dhoni have raised these speculations and doubts. There was also talk that he was not performing well or unable to perform well.
There is nothing from Dhoni on his retirement front. But Ravi Shashtri clarified that Dhoni took the ball to show the condition of the ball and that it has got nothing to do with retirement.

It may be noted that earlier he just stepped down from captaincy on his own all of a sudden. People are expecting that he might just say goodbye to the cricket also if he thinks that he is not performing well. But senior cricketers are of the opinion his presence for the next world cut is very much needed.
