Yes K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana is mulling with the idea of lockdown to arrest the Corona situation in the state. The cases of Corona are rising in the state and it is coming from the Educational institutions.
The TRS Government is thinking of closing down the educational institutions. There could be a partial closure or lockdown across the state. # days working and 3 days closure of the state for all the institutions. There could be night curfew also across the state like earlier times.
There is a chance that there could be early closure of the Assembly session also. The idea was to run the Budget session till 26th of this month.
But due to Covid conditions , there could be an early closure of the sessions it is reported.
The decision of the lockdown will be announced in a day or two by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. A meeting of the officials will be arranged where the Chief Minister would discuss on ways and means to close the state in a phased manner to arrest the spread of Covid conditions.
There was an all round appreciation for the state of Telangana for arresting the situation in the first phase, but now the second phase of Covid is already seen in Telangana.
Despite giving the Vaccine, the situation is not getting arrested. The lockdown is inevitable and it cannot be postponed or avoided any further.
