The majority of the surveys done in Telangana said that if elections are held immediately or at the earliest, the TRS is poised to win with a slender margin.
The Telangana assembly election is scheduled to be held in December 2023 to elect all 119 members of the state’s Legislative Assembly.
Now the centre has also clarified that there will be no increase in the constituencies.
The TRS president K.Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to be the incumbent chief minister of the state for the next 5 years. But KTR clarified that there will be no early polls in Telangana.
A rethinking has started in the TRS cadres and leaders that the elections should be conducted as soon as possible so that the BJP will not expand its base in the state.
If the BJP and Congress get sufficient time they will build a definite base to take on the ruling TRS. The onslaught of the BJP over the TRS is on the rise day in and day out.
But the advantage is always for the TRS, as they do not have internal bickerings like the BJP and the Congress.
