There have been many reports in the past that former Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha has eyed the HCA President post. There are rumours that under her influence the Apex Council sacked Azharuddin.
Kavitha in recent times has been attending the launches and prize distribution functions of Volley Ball, Kabbadi and other games.
Recently Kavitha made controversial comments that corruption has piled up in HCA and things needed to be sorted out. But what’s surprising is Azhar reacting softly to Kavitha’s comment.
When asked about Kavitha’s criticism, Azhar replied that he has knowledge of Kavitha’s remarks made on HCA operations.
Even more surprisingly Azhar stated that she is free to contest the HCA elections if the ombudsman allows and whoever gets the majority can take over HCA.
But there is no comment about the contest from Kavitha side. It looks like she is playing the cards close to her chest.
When Vivek Venkatswamy was in TRS, they helped Vivek to get the post in the HCA. Azhar has been struggling from time to time in the HCA.
But one thing is clear, that Azhar is a gaddar who has fixed matches against the interest of the country and was banned from cricket for a lifetime.
