Prime Minister Narendra Modi today questioned Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief if the party was only for the sake of Muslims and that too the Muslim men. He was talking about the Triple Talaw where the women divorced were in deep trouble.
Let the Congress party leaders go to those women who are in distress and then come to the ensuing session of the parliament Modi suggested. He was launching the works of an express high way at the cost of Rs 23000 crore here at Azamgarh in Purvanchal.
Modi found fault with the political parties for stalling the parliament and also the legislation meant for the Muslim women about Triple Talaq. The Congress party and other political parties have expressed their reservations over the bill meant to stop the Triple Talaq system and save the women from getting divorced without any reason.
The bill avoiding instant Talaq was passed in parliament and it is to be passed in Rajya Sabha now. If it gets done then the BJP will get a lot of mileage among the Muslim women. There will be a rise in the share of Muslim vote from the women side.
He also found fault with Rahul Gandhi for saying that the Congress party is for the Muslims when he met the intellectuals from the Muslim community. I am surprised to note this PM Modi said. He said crores of women have been demanding that the Triple Talaq may be removed. That was the reason they were doing it Modi said.
