There is a talk that the former MP Kondavishweshwar Reddy from Chevella is joining the BJP. The senior leader from the RR district will be joining the part in the presence of Union Home minister Amit Shah in Telangana.
But how far he will be able to strengthen the BJP is a big question. He is not a mass leader. He is a white collard corporate culture man with sober politics.
He will spend money with accounts and results. So how far the people will accept him in the party and how long will he remain in the BJP is a question.
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy was Chevella MP during the 2014-2018 period. Later, he left the TRS to join the Congress Party. He contested from Chevella again, but on a Congress ticket in 2019, but lost to the TRS.
Since then, he has been posturing against the TRS but gave conflicting signals. Sometimes, he was seen close to Congress and yet other times with the BJP. Now, it is becoming increasingly clear that he is likely to throw his lot with the BJP.
He has the background of a very big family who knows the terrain very well in the region, but he does not know how to operate in the political arena.
He might contest as the Chevalla MP from BJP in the coming elections. Konda helped Etela in the election from Huzurabad.
