There are rumours in the power corridors of Telangana that August 25 could be the deadline for the Present Assembly. Sources from the Ministries in Telangana are saying that KCR has decided to dissolve the Assembly and go for the election in November along with the other states, in the one year one poll scheme proposed by the CEC.
But there are also clarifications that it just to confuse the Congress party, KCR is adopting this strategy and that he may not dissolve the Assembly at all. Some others say that the announcement and challenge might come on September 2 in the public forum. While the Ministers were briefed by the KCR, the MLAs are already spending sleepless nights.
They have to mobilise the crowds and for that, they need funds now and later for the elections, and one year ahead of the stipulated time of the Assembly. If there is an early poll they will lose one year of the power in Advance. If they win it is Ok, otherwise, it is a great loss to them. If they don’t get the seat, that is a different matter altogether.
But all said and done KCR has stirred a hornet nest for the coming elections. He is pretty confident of coming to power. Getting 60 seats is an easy task for him and along with MIM, he will from the Government.
So it is for the MLAs to strive hard, win the election and come back to power.
