We are hours away from the start of the Indian Premier League in Hyderabad today between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings – but there is a problem.
HCA has reportedly failed to clear power dues amounting to a total of Rs 3,05 crore. This includes both principal dues and a surcharge for late payment.
The power department has given one day time to the Uppal stadium to clear the power dues it is reported. The cricket match tickets are being sold in black.
Earlier there were rumours that the Match would be cancelled as there was no power to the stadium.
