Now that IPL is impossible in India, the BCCI is contemplating to organise the same in other countries. Srilanka is interested in hosting the cricket game it is reported.
The BCCI earlier has thought it fit to organise the game and wanted the people to see it on small screens. But there was stiff opposition against the idea of organising the cricket without the cricket lovers.
Business-wise it is a loss. Now the idea is to host the game in other countries so that IPL happens. Most of them want the game to happen. They do not want it to be postponed.
Even in 2009 and 2014, the game was organised in different countries. This will be again in 2020 that the BCCI is contemplating to organise the game in foreign countries.
The cricket lovers, however, will watch it on the TV.
