Investigation Assistants must strive for conviction of cases

CP V.C. Sajjanar IPS, DCP Traffic Sri S.M. Vijay Kumar IPS, Additional DCP Crimes 1 Smt. D. Kavitha, Principal CTC M.Padmanabha Reddy have attended the valediction programme of outgoing RPCs 2020 batch, who underwent special training in investigation skills to act as investigation assistants that is the station writers in police stations at CTC Cyberabad.

Commissioner Of Police Cyberabad VC Sajjanar, Ips., said, they will be attached to the has to IOs, SIs/CIs in the police stations in matter of crimes, their role as Investigation assistants is crucial. They were choosen and specially given training in all aspects of investigation, of different crimes, collection of evidence, and recording of scene of crime and remand reports and charge sheets.

They should assist the IOs and improve the quality of investigation and get more conviction of cases after they took up the charge in their postings 04 trainees who performed best in the final test were rewarded with appreciation certificates. On this occasion faculty of CTC were appreciated on conducting the course successfully and also wished the newly recruited constable officers All the Best in the New Year.

DCP Traffic S.M. Vijay Kumar IPS have addressed the trainees and congratulated them for successful completion of training as an investigation assistants (Station Writers). Wished all the trainees that learning is a continuous process,you should upgrade investigation procedure and you should do justice to the petitioners.

Also added that they are fortunate to undergo training as an investigation assistant and learn investigation procedures, as earlier it was not there and said that they should work with sincerity, should improve the quality of investigation and get good name to their respective Police Stations.

CTC Principal Smt. Dara Kavitha informed officers that newly recruited PCs 224 (Male & Female) allotted to Cyberabad Unit, who gave willing to work as an Investigation Assistant (Station Writer). Theywere handpicked after conducting slip test and were trained in the CTC Cyberabad from 5-11-2020 to 28-12-2020.

They were trained with experienced faculty in investigation aspects, from petition writing (5Ws and 1H), scene of crime, evidence collection, arrest procedure, search procedure, writing of reports to various departments, remand reports and final reports and others. Experts from outside came to training as guest lecturers during the training period. Also, taken them to field visit to show the real scene crimes.

CP Cyberabad, DCP Traffic, CTC Principle Congratulated the newly recruited Station Writers, on their completion of the training, their transfer and postings.

They also wished to keep themselves physically and mentally fit an get good name to their police stations and their families. In this valediction programme Officers of CTC and staff were present.
