Rangareddy Raiders, who have been outstanding in the ongoing first edition Telangana premier kabaddi tournament start as favorites when they take on Siddipet Stallions in the semifinal at the Ambedkar Indoor stadium, Karimnagar. But if they miss the services of Selvamani, who didn’t play last two matches they will be under a bit of pressure. Muneesh of course has been in terrific form and he has to take the lead in raids.
They are pretty strong in defense with Ameer being the strong defender. He changes his positions from left to right and even the best of raiders don’t take risk to go deep. His tackling has impressed everyone in this meet. Siddipet can’t be taken lightly, although they have struggled on some occasions.
Supriyo will be the key man for them. In the other semifinal, Gadwal Gladiators will have an edge over Hyderabad Bulls, with captain Mallikarjun being in super form. He has singlehandedly won the matches and they have an all round strength. The championship, organized by Chintala Sports Pvt Ltd has attracted everyone.
