C. Partha Sarathi, IAS, Director General, EPTRI and Principal Secretary to Government, Government of Telangana inaugurated the International Civilian Training Programme on Environmental Management (EM) as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (MEA, GoI).
This course is being attended by 27 participants from 26 countries covering Ghana, Iraq, Russia, Argentina, Tanzania, Cuba, Liberia, Madagascar, Panama, Zimbabwe, Nepal and other African Countries Addressing the international participants, the Shri. C. Partha Sarathi, IAS, said that, Environmental sustainability is rapidly emerging as the major development and policy challenge for the countries and this course one Environmental Management spanning three (3) weeks (2nd -21st March 2020), “will give an opportunity to participants to learn about trends that influence the environment and the living conditions and how different management systems and approaches are used around the world, especially in India, to manage the environment.
