Haryana assembly elections are fast approaching. They are scheduled on October 5 the counting on October 8. Prominent Jat politician and the face of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Haryana,Abhay Singh Chautala is all set for a comeback. His goal is to return INLD to its previous position.
There is a talk that the rural and agricultural Jat group will benefit INLD from the partnership with the Lokhit Party. Also, it will take advantage of the Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) dominance among voters belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC).
They had no choice but to back Congress, but the development of INLD has changed the political landscape. The backing of influential regional figures like Sirsa’s Gopal Kanda might drastically change the political scene.
Political pandits consider the INLD’s coalition with the BSP and HLP in the 2024 elections to be a brilliant move. The idea is to combine sc and Jat votes so they may get a lot of support, especially in the Bagad region.
This shift has been exacerbated by the Congress’s purported disregard for the Bagad area under Bhupendra Singh Hooda’s leadership.
