Asian wrestling Champion Navjot Kaur is now the world No 2 in the womens 65 Kg category. This is the latest ranking released by the United World Wrestling.
Navjot was the first Indian lady to win a gold medal in the recently concluded Asian Championship in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This is her wrestling careers best ranking so far.
The position in the 65 Kg category belonged to 2015 World Championship silver medalist Petra Olli of Finland, Both Olli and Navjoth gained 18 points each.
When it comes to other Indians Vinesh Phogat is 2nd in 50 Kg category behind Lei Chun of China. Vinesh has got 22 points while Chun is on the top with 24 points.
