The success of Indian One apparently spooked some confidence in the makers of Indian 2, because of which the film was finally revived, Not only this but it was sanctioned a decent budget.
While Indian 2 shooting has been officially winded up, there has been chatter about Indian 3. Several reports claim that the blockbuster duo has turned their movie, ‘Indian,’ into a trilogy now.
Dil Raju was the producer for the second part of the movie. Later Raju opted out as Kamal was busy with politics. After the success of Vikram the second part was revived and they say Shankar has shot extensively and they can release the third part after the second one.
Shankar and Kamal Haasan have decided to tell the story of Indian 2 in two parts. Initially, there were rumors in the industry about Shankar not able to find a perfect climax for Indian 2.
Kamal is involved in Project K being named Kalki. He is planning for Vikram two also with Kangaraj.We do not know if Kamal would contest in the elections this time.
He has lost interest in politics they say. Kamal was an international star even before Prabhas. But the name Pan India was not coined then.
