The decision of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to give Rs 8000 to farming community has made the states across the country to stand up and look at Telangana. This amount is for the farming inputs like fertilisers and other things. Most of the farmers in Telangana have small and medium holdings and they deserve this help.
The other day KCR wanted to increase the reservations for minorities and passed a resolution in the state Assembly. Except for BJP all other political parties have supported him and this was like history again. The same day Modi the PM also talked about helping the poorer sections among the Muslims.
The Centre is already working on the modalities of Mission Kakatiya and Bagheeradha being implemented successfully by the TRS Government here in Telangana. PM Modi openly praised the efforts of the Government here but also launched the scheme in one of the districts.
The 2 bed room housing scheme is also being looked at by other states. The BJP Government also wants to see that the population especially the poorer sections in the country will have their own home. Helping the poor girls get married, pension from women and old people are some of the hall mark decisions of KCR Government in the recent past.
For the first time the Brahmins who are said to be the upper community in all the castes and society are being extended help. There are large number of population in this community who are poor, but there is no one to help them out. KCR announced a help of Rs 200 crore to reach out to the poorer sections of Brahmins in the society. Even this decision is also historic. Now Modi is considering to pick up EBCs from the Brahmins also.
The Golla Kurmas are given more than 80 percent subsidy for rearing sheep. KCR is touching almost all the communities and this bound to bring him back to power in the coming elections.
