Eid-ul Fitr is being celebrated across India with religious fervour. After a month of fasting and feasting from dawn to dusk, Muslim brothers and sisters will finally celebrate the biggest day of the year.
Two dishes are named after Prime Minister Modi and also Yogi Aditynath the Chief Minister. For the sake of Ramzan these dishes are being offered. Adityanath Sewai is costly than Modi Sewai.
In Hyderabad, special arrangements were made at Eidgah for Namaz. The Charminar was decked up for the event and the night bazaars continued for a month. Police made elaborate bundobust arrangements in and around the pearl city to avoid untoward incidents. All the dargahs organised special prayers for the festival.
Sweets, fruits and Sewai were exchanged between friends and relatives for the Eid. Some Hindus organised a party for the Muslim brothers. Iftar was also organised in Hindu Temples in many places for the sake of Muslims.
Except for some violence in Kashmir, the Ramzan Mahina went off peacefully across the country.
