MP Sitaram Naik, Chairman, Telangana Tourism, Panyala Bhupathi Reddy and Tourism GM Dr M Surender met Alphons, Minister of State, Tourism, Government of India and discussed a few proposals and it’s grants.
A team led by MP Sitaram Naik, who wanted to include Ramappa Lake in the Prasad scheme of the Union Tourism Department,Swadesh Darshan in the Tribal Circuit wanted to include Ramappa The Ramappa Lake, which has a huge footfall of visitors. They have proposed to grant two houseboats.
Requested to include Ramappa to be recognize as heritage monument. In Tribal circuit there are only Laknavaram, Tadvai Medaram, Dhamaravai, Malloor, Bogattha Waterfalls. In this scheme if the Ramappa Lake is also added it would be developed in all respects
