Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao made it clear he isn’t in a hurry to become Chief Minister of Telangana. Responding on the much-talked rift with Harish Rao, KTR clarifies it’s just a speculation and they share a good rapport. ‘We need KCR’s leadership for 10 more years. Our Leader has done wonders in the past 3 years,’ he stated.
The Minister opined people are vexed with the policies of Congress party. When asked what is the reason behind holding public meetings, KTR replied: ‘The distance between me and public grew after I became Municipal Minister. So, these meetings are required to come close to grass roots he said. There is no intention to project myself as the successor of KCR behind this exercise’ he clarified.
On the other hand Rama Rao responded on the elevation of Nara Lokesh as IT Minister. ‘Once, Lokesh called me a non-local and declared himself as local saying he was born & brought up in Hyderabad. Now, he became a minister in the neighboring state and that clearly indicates who is working for Telangana. Lokesh’s entry into AP Cabinet is nothing but the shut down of Telangana TDP,’ he said.
The Minister reiterated neither TDP nor Congress have future in Telangana state. He claimed the victory march of TRS will begin from Jagithyala in 2019 Polls.
