Governor Tamilisai who has been maintaining very cordial relations with the Government and the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that she is not a rubber stamp Governor.

She said that politicians can become Governors, but they should not do politics she said. Saying that if there are any issues she will bring it to the notice of CS and CM, Tamilisai opined that the Governors must resolve the issues and not make politics.

Recently she has given an interview where she clarified that the post of a party chief was quite different from that of a Governor. Before taking over as the Governor of Telangana, she was the BJP party chief.

There were apprehensions that the BJP would use the Governor against the CM KCR. But so far she has not acted against KCR or the Government in any form.

Even KCR also has very good relations with the Governor. Unlike other Governors, Tamilisai was more accessible to all sections of the people. She took representations from all sections of the people and forwarded them to the Government for resolving them.

She never made comments against the Government at any point in time. I am not for the Government nor against the Government and I am not a rubber stamp also Tamilisai clarified.

Tamilisai sounded as if she is neutral in every manner and resolving the issues is her agenda.
