YV Subbareddy the close relative of AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy who has been designated as the new TTD Chairman clarified that he is not a Christian but a worshipper of Lord Venkateshwara.
Subba Reddy clarified that some vested interests have floated rumours in the social media that he was a Christian. There need not be any doubts about his religion Subbareddy clarified to the media. I am a pucca Hindu and a worshipper of Lord Balaji he said.
Ever since his name was finalised for the prestigious post, the social media has been saying that Subbareddy is a Christian and that he cannot become the Chief for the prestigious TTD.
Meanwhile, a lot of controversies are brewing around the posts of TTD. The Present Chairman Yadav said that he would not resign to the post. Some board members of the TDP regime have resigned, while some of the resignations are pending.
Bhumana karunakar Reddy was the Chairman for the TTD, during the regime of YS Raja Sekhar Reddy the father of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Karunakar Reddy is the MLA from Tirupathi and he was also looking for the TTD chief post. Bhumana, on the other hand, announced that he will not be contesting the next elections and has certified that Jagan would become one of the best Chief Ministers of the state.
Bhumana was very close to YSR, but Jagan is keeping him at a distance.
