The last Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy is back into the Congress fold. He expressed his happiness overcoming back home. He was welcomed by Congress President Rahul Gandhi and later Kiran Kumar Reddy addressed a Press Conference here in Delhi.
Earlier after resigning from the Congress party he formed his own party and lost the elections miserably. Chappal was his election symbol and the party name was Jai Samaikya Andhra. No single man including his brother has won the election last time and even the Congress party could win a single seat in Andhra Pradesh.
After a hibernation of 4 years now Kiran Kumar Reddy rejoined the Congress party with some MLA aspirants from Andhra Pradesh. Now the Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi are expecting that Kiran Kumar Reddy as the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh would take a centre stage for the coming elections and would rejuvenate the party from the grass root level.
But for the time being the party is in ICU in Andhra Pradesh and it is somewhat better in the Telangana.
