This winter is very harsh on Hyderabadis. People are shivering even under the sun. The senior citizens are finding it difficult to come onto the roads in open.
The weather department has predicted that it will become further cool in the coming days. The Temperatures will further fall down. The people, in general, have pulled out their woollen clothing to protect themselves from the cold conditions.
The Temperatures are three to four degrees below the normal in Hyderabad. Poor people who do not have proper shelters were seen setting up fireplaces with old tyres and other material on the roads.
The vehicular movement has come down during the nights. Some NGOs are distributing blankets to the poor in front of the hospitals. Chai consumption on the streets has gone up.
The temperatures have fallen down to single digits in the agency areas. Even Adilabad is also shivering. It is three degrees in Komaram Bheem district. This is the least Temperature recorded in the winter.
Sirpur is also shivering under cold temperatures. Araku and Paderu in Andhra Pradesh are also reeling under cold Temperatures.
