Thanks to the power politics in Telangana. The TRS is all set to field Danam Nagendar against his brother from Goshamahal. Goshamahal is a stronghold for the BJP. Earlier it was held by the Congress leader Mukesh. Both Nagendar and Mukesh are called as Hyderabad brothers and tehy would fight against each other for Goshamahal. BJP is in power at Goshamahal represented by the firebrand Raja Singh.
But there are reports that Rajsingh might contest against Asadudddin Owaisi from Hyderabad constituency as an MP. If Raja Singh shifts to Hyderabad, then it would between the Congress and TRS. That is one of the brothers will make it to the Assembly. Mukesh is a heavyweight and is related to Devendar Goud the TDP MP.
If Rajasingh remains in Goshamahal then it is not easy for the TRS and also the Congress here. But these days Raja is not in good terms with the local BJP leadership. But he will get the seat of his choice as there are no candidates for the BJP in reality. There are no winning horses for the BJP in Hyderabad and Rangareddy district. The same old half a dozen faces will contest and they would get 4 or 5 seats.
Fielding Nagendar form Goshamahal is right as he has face his brother and Congress candidate. He has to win and there is no other way he can stay in politics if he cant make it to the Assembly. Mukesh was also supposed to join the TRS, but it did not happen for the best reasons known to Mukesh himself. He has lost to Rajasingh last time and he is hungry for power.
It has to be seen how Nagendar would wrest the seat from Rajsingh the BJP firebrand leader.
