There might be more traffic congestion in the near future. The reason is that high-rise buildings are coming up in and around Hyderabad.
If they are occupied the population will rise further and most of them will have four-wheelers. The nightlife is also going up in Hyderabad.
The people are moving out of the city to have food in the drive-ins.
The tallest building in Hyderabad with a total of 59 floors, once completed, would be Candeur Skyline, which is coming up at Puppalaguda followed by SAS Crown at Kokapet, a Golden Mile real-estate project that will have 58 floors.
There are nearly 10 major building plan approvals from 50 to 59 floors and at least five such superstructures in the Neopolis and Kokapet area.
We are number two after Mumbai in high-rise buildings,” said a top official from the GHMC. The Rajpushpa builders have bought land by spending a hundred crores per acre and they will definitely try to build a hundred-floor building otherwise they will land in losses with the land purchased at a hundred crore.
With the high-rise building and increase in population, there is every need for modernizing the existing drainage and sewer system.
The rainwater drains should be improved as the city is already getting submerged in rain waters.
