On eve of 1st July, Cyberabad police undertook surveillance program on 142 human traffickers in all five zones of Cyberabad- Balanagar, Madhapur, Rajendra Nagar, Shamshabad and Medchal.
Activities of those were monitored who were organisers or sub organisers or middlemen in the sex racket and have been either transporting or providing girls for immoral sexual exploitation. Cyberabad police is utmost serious in curbing human trafficking as seen previously in active busting of sex trade rackets.
This surveillance and tracking program is in line with the previous program in which sex offenders were tracked through a system of beat policing and local intelligence network. The programme like previous tracking program comprised of checking current whereabouts of all traffickers, their activities in their residential areas plus in their neighbourhood areas, whether offender is involved in any other crime in any other area and the updated residential details of the offenders were recorded.
Keeping regular surveillance on traffickers keeps prevents them from again committing crimes and trading in human flesh.
A record of all sexual offenders and Human Traffickers is being maintained by Cyberabad Police.
For protection, safety and security of public, a careful and repeated watch on such activities is warranted.
