The Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara has been successfully organized with the help of all, said Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy and Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. Ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Errabelli Dayakar Rao felicitated the officials who made the Sammakka Saralamma Medaram Jatara a success. Speaking on the occasion, the ministers said that with the orders of the Chief Minister KCR, the ministers and superiors stayed close and supervised the arrangements and the fair of the gods and goddesses went smoothly.
Officials said there was no inconvenience to the devotees at the fair as they were moving ahead with the plan on a micro-scale from the front. It was revealed that with the kindness of Ammavaru the devotees paid for their respects and returned happily. He said that the fair was a success with the cooperation of everyone and the arrangements and management of the fair were satisfactory.
Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod has been monitoring the fieldwork from time to time.
He said that KCR had allocated a huge amount of funds to the tribal caste as never before and Rs 75 crore had been sanctioned for this caste. The government has so far spent Rs. 332.71 was spent. He said that with these funds, permanent structures have been set up and there is a shortage of infrastructure. The Minister said that with the timely release of funds, the work was completed expeditiously. He said that it was very convenient for the devotees to make arrangements in coordination between all the branches.
He said that in view of the large number of devotees coming for the Jatara, they had built more bathing ghats than ever before at Jampannavagu to perform the holy baths. He said that with the provision of drinking water facility, sanitation and temporary huts for the staying devotees, there was no drinking water problem but a sanitation problem.
The government expressed special gratitude to all the devotees who co-operated in organizing the Jatara Brahmananda. The Minister lauded the effective work of the officers and staff from the village level to the district level at the fair. The Minister lauded the services rendered by the Collector and the SP, especially at the field level, for taking care not to cause any inconvenience to the devotees.
The Minister congratulated the officers of all the departments who had co-operated for the success of the fair. MLA Sitakka, MPs, other MLAs, along with local representatives were working in close coordination.
Minister Indrakaran Reddy said that it was a great pleasure and personally satisfying to observe the four castes in a row as the Minister of Revenue. On this occasion he wished that the cold blessings of the gods would be upon all. In the coming days, the revenue department will pay Rs. 10 crore for the construction of suites, dormitories, canteens and other facilities.
