Finding a hotel room for the Prime Minister of a country is not a tough task for government authorities but not every time. Ironically, Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to find a hotel room in Mysuru’s iconic Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel as the hotel was fully booked for a marriage function.

The administration later booked a room for PM Modi in Radisson Blu.

The Lalitha Mahal Palace hotel had three rooms available but PM Modi’s contingent needed more than three rooms. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to the city during which he inaugurated some railway projects.

It was surprising that the PM faced the same problem at Hotel Radisson Blu as well as it was booked for a wedding reception. But the hotel management requested the business family to reschedule their wedding reception.

PM Modi arrived in Mysuru to participate in an event at Jain pilgrim centre Shravanabelagola in Hassan district.
