The winter session of the parliament is all set to have heated debates this time. The Opposition is all set to grill the NDA Government and also Prime Minister Modi in particular over various decisions.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the parliament was ready to discuss all the issues as per the rules and regulations. He was talking to the leaders in an all-party meet here at the Library hall today.
The issue of Farooq Abdullah and Chidambaram was raised by Ghulam Nabhi Azad who demanded that the two leaders must be allowed into the parliament.
Prime Minister Modi assured that all the issues would be discussed and a decision would be taken. 27 bills are set to be presented in the parliament by the NDA Government in this session. Modi suggested that as the last session of parliament this session should also be productive and all the parties must cooperate for the same.
The most crucial bill is the citizenship bill to be presented in the parliament. The idea is to present citizenship to members of various communities who are from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The citizenship amendment bill was introduced in the last session, but they were unable to push it forward. The NDA Government is hopeful that they would be able to pass it this time.
The TRS MPs will push for the funds to develop Telangana, while the TDP MPs will complain against the misdeeds of the YSRC Government in Andhra Pradesh. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi will raise the issue of Ayodhya.
