There are rumors of Horse trading even before the Election results are out in Telangana. With the exit polls giving a mandate to the Congress and with BRS and BJP trying to stop the Congress, the rumors are gaining momentum.
Both Congress and BRS are talking about MLAs poaching.
Elections were held in Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram and the counting of polled votes is slated on Sunday.
DK Shivakumar, who is the Karnataka Congress chief and deputy CM , said, “There is no need for the MLAs to go anywhere.” He said that some people were trying to get in touch with the winning candidates in Telangana.
However, the Congress will manage it locally, he added.
People close to Shivakumar said they have not yet been asked to make any arrangements for the stay of a large number of people. To a question, Shivakumar said he would do whatever the party asked of him, in case a Gujarat-like situation arose.
The Deputy Chief Minister who campaigned in Telangana said the reports in all the states are good for Congress.
