This woman has been making headlines since she has been spotted accompanying Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to the CBI court and later in an Army chopper after was convicted by the CBI court in a 2002 rape case.
She is believed to be a confidant of Gurmeet Ram Rahim and is also speculated to be the next successor of MSG to head the controversial Dera Sacha Sauda.
Honeypreet is the third daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
However, she is not the biological child of the ‘influential godman’ but was adopted by him in the year 2009.
She was married to Vishwas Gupta of Panchkula in 1998; however the duo later headed for a separation in 2011.
Reports suggest that Vishwas Gupta, in his divorce petition, alleged that Ram Rahim had an illicit relationship with Honeypreet and also accused the Dera chief of keeping his wife away from him.
Following this, Honeypreet accused him of dowry and domestic violence and started living at the Dera.
