The Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Limited has completed the construction of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate at Neredmet in 18 months in 28000 Sft plinth Area with the cost of 510 Lakhs. The commissionerate includes reception and visitors lounge, Main and Mini Conference Hall, Chambers for CP, Joint CP, DCsP, Command Control Room, CCRB Hall, Job Verification Hall, Toilets. The commissionerate building was inaugurated by Sri Mahamood Ali, Home Minister, Telangana State along with M.Mahendar Reddy, Director General of Police, Sri M.Mahesh Bhagwat, commissioner of police, Rachakonda, Public Representatives and officials. Later the guests have planted saplings in the premises.
An MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) is signed between Infosys Company and Rachakonda Commissionerate in the presence of Hon’ble Home Minister and DGP. The MOU of CCTV Community project of 5 Crores worth, work in under progress on NH 262 from Uppal junction to Kepal. The Rachakonda Commissioner, Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat has presented a report of the Rachakonda Commissionerate establishment. He is thankful to the Government of Telangana for allotment of 86 Acres land (53 Acres for Rachakonda Commissionerate in Medipally and 33 Acres for AR Headquarters at Yadadri). He also said that For the first time in the state, the RACHAKONDA Police Commissionerate procured the ADVANCED RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM from TechMark Solutions, Pune in order to secure the classified records/files from all eventualities which is water and fireproof.
M. Mahender Reddy, DGP, TS while addressing the gathering has said that the people residing in the area of Rachakonda have the Commissioner available 24×7 in the jurisdiction to solve the law & order issues on real-time basis. The quality of services delivered as per expectations of the public will be facilitated. He has congratulated the Managing Director, TSPHC Limited for completing in a short time. He said that the Telangana Government and Hon’ble Chief Minister’s expectation of providing Hassle free environment to the citizens residing in the State. To deliver welfare services by the Government, the state should have in place law & order, visible policing along with technologies is implemented after the formation of Telangana. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has created New Commissionerates to deliver quality policing services, the sanction of Manpower, infrastructure and technologies for improving policing services.
Improving patrolling with the sanction of 11000 vehicles spread across the state. Police working in coordination with the Stakeholders and Community has been successful ineffective protection of law & order. The best example is the installation of CCTVs with the help of the community in the prevention and detection of crime. Mahmood Ali, Home Minister, TS has said that the Hon’ble Chief Minister has given importance to the law & order. He congratulated the Housing Corporation for completing construction in 18 months. He said that the citizen-friendly policing is effectively implemented in the state.
The public has gained confidence in reporting the crime at the Police Stations. All the officer’s have changed the approach of being with the community by counselling them to prevent and report the crime. Police Department has also taken up welfare activities like Job connect.
TS Police also successful in preventing Crime, Zero tolerance against Matka, Gutkha, Playing Cards Clubs and were successful in eradicating them. The Department’s usage of technology in implementing Modern Policing is successful. The State’s Growth has increased with of the contribution of the department in maintaining law & order.
