HM Ali presents Awards

Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali stated that no other state in the country has given priority to the funding and priority given by the state government for the modernization of the state police department and the appointment of police officers after the formation of the state of Telangana.

281 Police Officers were awarded various service medals announced by the Central and State Governments to Police Officers who have shown the best performance in their duties at Ravindra Bharathi today. Home Minister Mahmood Ali and DGP Anjani Kumar attended the medal distribution program as chief guest.

DGP Anjani Kumar said that these medals are not just personal, they want to feel good that they have received all those who work under their jurisdiction as their family members. He said that police department is a major part of economic development. Police job is like a double edge sword. He called upon the police officers to work with more dedication in the spirit of these medals, as recognition of the best services rendered by the policemen who are constantly performing their duties in the public service 24/7. He said that the Chief Minister is giving utmost priority to the police department as a part of maintaining peace and security in the state.

DGP Anjani Kumar, Telangana Police Hosing Corporation MD Rajeev Ratan, Hyderabad CP C.V. Anand, I.G. along with 26 police officers including  VB Kamalasan Reddy received Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal.

28 police officers including IG Tarun Joshi, Joint Commissioner Cyberabad, DIG Avinash Mohanty were among those who received the Utkrisht Seva Medals -2022.

V. Siva Kumar IG Hyderabad and 6 others were among the recipients of the Asadharan Aasuchana Kushalata Padak  2020-2021.

Among these awards given by the Home Minister are Ati Utkrit Seva Medals-2022 to 30 police officers, Utkrit Seva Medals-2022 to 28 persons, Asadharan Aasuchana Kushalata Padak to 7 persons, Central Home Minister Medals to 8 persons for best performance in Investigation, in Training Central Home Minister Medals to 12 persons, Shaurya Padhak – 2022 to 11 persons and Mahonnatha Seva Medal – 2022 to 7 police officers will be given to those who have shown the best performance.
